  1. Ah, that makes sense. I now vaguely remember reading something about GART having something to do with AGP video cards a loooong time ago. Have you noticed any speed differences with the IDE driver vs Windows built-in one? Thanks for taking the time to make the video and replying to us peeps!!
  2. Angry_Games: During the video while you were installing the Nvidia System Drivers, I noticed you unchecked the GART driver & IDE driver. Why is that?? Thanks!
  3. What is your chipset temperature idle and under load?
  4. Tried that, but it didn't seem to make any difference.
  5. Hello all, I FINALLY got my X2 4400+ on Friday and put the system together. Initial impression is WOW! The speed is yummy! I can get a pretty stable clock at 230FSB, but I have noticed games that push the system (Doom 3, HL2, 3DMark 05) will occasionally lock up. 225 seems pretty good, but just to make sure I've dropped it down to 220. I'm lucky that my 2GB (2 sticks) of memory can stay at 2-3-2-5 even at 230. Anyway -- the question I have is; how can I get the system to wake up from S3 with my USB keyboard? I have the Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite combo, so both the mouse and the keyboard go through one USB cable. I've enabled it to wake from any key press, and I've fiddled with other BIOS settings, but I just can't get it to work. Also, what is the S1&S3 option?? A hybrid or something?? I couldn't find any documentation on this. Thanks in advance!
  6. I think Angry_Games knows I'm kidding since he knows my sense of humor from previous posts.
  7. That is simply unacceptable -- don't you own a crystal ball or tarot cards or something? Come on man, you've got to give it your all, 100.14159265%! Anything less would be lazy. Go to a divination school today, keep ahead of the competition tomorrow.
  8. You know, it's the strangest thing -- I must have a fly caught inside my monitor because when I scroll this page the fly scrolls up and down with it. Hmm, must be squashed dead though since it's just laying flat. Does anyone know how much it will cost for a monitor repair shop to clean out the bugs inside my monitor?
  9. Thanks for the reply, but I found out what it is -- Infineon based memory. Here's a link: http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthrea...96945#post96945
  10. What kind of improvement will using you have, and how much will it cost? Also, how in the world do you hook yourself up to the computer??
  11. I just bought the exact same memory. I haven't had the chance to assemble the system in my sig yet though, still waiting on that X2 4400+. Here is a link to an Official statement on the type of memory we have: http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11350 (it's not TCCD)
  12. Hmm, there are some new posts in that thread that I linked above. People are saying that it might still be possible to fry it even with thermal throttling disabled? I guess it's probably too soon to have any word back from TW yet.
