OsamaBinAthlon+ Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 seems really fast But I don't know whatcha mean, it's designed to do a wu in 8 hours. i have done two wu's so I guess look at my stats to figure.
ReelFiles Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 That's what I meant; how fast it could complete a WU.

Jachyra007 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 hey guys, Without changing anything on the system, I've started to get the following error: [14:12:06] + Attempting to send results [14:12:08] nit [14:12:09] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet) [14:12:09] + Could not connect to Work Server (results) [14:12:09] (171.65.103.100:8080) [14:12:09] Could not transmit unit 00 to Collection server; keeping in queue. Would it be something to do with my network settings? All my other internet functions work just fine.

ReelFiles Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 You're still getting that error? I had problems connecting here and there, but it always ended up working on it's own, eventually.
tasr Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 hey guys, Without changing anything on the system, I've started to get the following error: [14:12:06] + Attempting to send results [14:12:08] nit [14:12:09] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet) [14:12:09] + Could not connect to Work Server (results) [14:12:09] (171.65.103.100:8080) [14:12:09] Could not transmit unit 00 to Collection server; keeping in queue. They do take them down for maintenance for time to time. There is a list of scheduled server on there web site. My problem with it is I can never figure out which server I’m am connected to. I would give it some time then maybe restart your client. Of all the folding I do I can’t remember ever loosing WU and I’ve restarted jobs many times. I have 6 full time SMP folding rigs going so I check them often and restart as necessary.
Jachyra007 Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 I gave it lots of time, then had the s-mart idea of looking at the folding forum@stanford. I guess somehow I was using IE settings. Once I changed that to no, it uploaded on the first try. Its all good in this hizzouse!
tasr Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Are you folding with a Win SMP client or are you using Linux SMP client?
