Would it be possible to get MBM5 to read voltages to the hundreth decimal?

Thanks

EDIT:Brain fart- I meant thousandth decimal

EDIT: I know the Nvidia plugin does video memory speed...how about system memory speed. Is this possible?

WARNING - THIS CONFIG FILE DOES NOT WORK ON THE DFI NF4 INFINITY SERIES!

I BELIEVE A NEW BIOS REVISION WILL FIX THIS ISSUE

Nobody did it as far as I know (yet)...

Well I asked anyway because I kinda dont know what to do...

My BIOS says that CPU is at 29 celsius and everest is saying 43 and speedfan is just goin upa and down.

So the results are like this:

BiOS

CPU 29

System (inside) 36

System (outside) 43

Everest

Mobo 36

CPU 43

Aux going up and down

SpeedFan

Temp1 going up and down

Temp2 36

Temp3 43

What to do? Should I open a new post?

My BIOS says that CPU is at 29 celsius and everest is saying 43 and speedfan is just goin upa and down.

That is (unfortunatly) the tipical behaviour for the infinity...

Everest

Mobo 36

CPU 43

Aux going up and down

It is hard to say what temperatures are the correct ones without knowing what aour hardware is (make a signature!!!!!).

The everest should be ok...

What to do? Should I open a new post?

If you want to (but as far as I know the is no definite solution for the problem) - there are a lot of threads about the same issue so search before you post...

1st of all - Welcome to the Forum

What to do?

well for starters I'd suggest reading the rules.

While I understand that English may not be your native language, the forum rules clearly state that you MUST develop a "signature" that contains the equipment being used. Sure helps in cases like this to have your Bios date listed as well. Help us to help you by giving us as much information as possible.

There is a link to the forum rules below my signature. Please read them before posting again.

If MBM5, Everest, and SpeedFan all give you eroneous readings and the board is operating properly, I would think there is something not right with the bios or the sensors. Pretty hard to blame the programs if all 3 have issues.

As I stated earlier in this thread, motherboard manufacturers often release a new bios to correct temperature readings, and I think DFI will do the same for the Infinity NF4 boards. What bios are you currently using? (answer only after you have completed a signature and read the rules) May even want to let us know what version of Everest and SpeedFan you are using. We are trying to get a handle on it so that Infinity users can enjoy MBM5 as well.

_xhp_ worked VERY hard developing a driver so that Nvidia cards could be read and imported into MBM5. I wish things could happen faster but be assured it will be solved with time. Sorry if I'm ranting but I'm sure you understand how unpleasent it is to have another mod point out that the rules are being violated in my own thread.

Does the SmartGuardian program (on the CD that came with board) work at all.

Thanks for help!

Well the thing is. Ive installed nTune (just for running NVMonitor) and it gives the same results as BIOS:

CPU: 29

System: 36

and gives temp. also for GPU: 62

Then, I figured out, that when running SpeedFan 4.25 same results are:

for CPU under "Remote"

for System under "Temp2".

Running Everest 1.51.195 the results are:

CPU: 42

Motherboard: 36

The SmartGuardian 1.00 program has temperature for:

System 1: 36

System 2: 42

So at the end looks like this:

CPU temp: BIOS=nTune=SpeedFan "Remote"

Mobo temp: BIOS=nTune=Speedfan "Temp2"=Everest=Smartguardian "System 1"

I guess Ill just run SpeedFan and watch CPU temp under "Remote".
