why? surely a move forward to PCI-E and DDR2 would be a good thing.

Altho I see the Corsair pc5400 modules have an horrendous CAS latency of 4.

/shudders at CAS4 after being on CAS2 for so long.

But dual 6800's in SLI would be uber 1337

But how long is it gonna take to work the bugs out of it? It seems that the nforce platform goes through it's growing pains with every new chipset. Alot of folks out there are getting very positive results with nforce3 250GB now. Although there are still bugs, but they seem to be getting cleared up on the motherboard manufactures end via BIOS updates.

Besides the 939s are wayyyy out of my price range right now.http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-103-465&depa=1 and will be for a while. Gonna try a 754 and nforce3 solution until the prices drop on 939. I feel the need for something new:)

Tell em to hurry guys, I even have a DFI mobo in my K6 rig, I dont like using any other, they just forced me to by not having one themselfs.

I have a new case ,550 PSU, 9800 XT,2 raptors, OCZ 4400, & a nice burner, & 3400 clawhammer just setting here new & I am not ordering agian until the DFI mobo is what I can get.

I am sick of a bunch of half baked & flimpsy mobos that are out now.

Heck tell em to sell us beta boards we want tell. LOL

I know lets get it right, its best, but hurry, but still take you time.

cas4@400MHz = cas2@200MHz

4-4-4-12@533MHz is just like 2-2-2-6@266MHz ...

btw, the 533MHz is the actual clock, right? not the SDRAM equivalent, right?

DDR2 is still a joke. Corsair wants about $400 USD for 1 gig (2x512)of the std superhigh latency stuff. I'll pass...
