OCing 9600 gt

I picked up a Evga 9600 gt SO

Coolbits doesnt seam to work with it.

Ntune tells me my memory is running at 3/4 of Stock.

any ideas for some good OC software for it

atitool and rivatuner? You'll probably have more success with the latter but I don't own a 9600 so I can't really say anything out of experience.

Riva tuner is not able to support it yet. Coolbits did not work so I ended up using Ntune and did fairly well with it on the XFX model I played with.

are you running vista or xp cause I have to mod my bios file everytime I want to overclock my GPU in vista.

I ended up using Ntune to oc my BFG 9600 GT OC clock at 775 mem at 1033 and the shader went to 1952. Of course these numbers are a happy medium. They may or may not work for everyone. Turns out that the 9600 is a great card.

Im running Xp Pro sp2

 

With Ntune its showing that memory bus is 900 Mhz

Just so i understand this Memory Bus X2 = Memory Clock

Or do i have this all jacked up!

Ok what you need to get is GPU-Z .0.1.7. http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ Here is where my card is set at.
