Rehit Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 i think they mean 4 DVI's if you have two cards installed. it will allow you to run 4 monitors in that config.
NCC10281982B Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Boss, the egg link said product not found. I'll look around. I like the crysis proformance. [offtopic] Besides I figure I'd spend at least that much for a normal 3870 CF setup. So kinda a toss up imho. [/offtopic] Here is the newegg page its out of stock. Rehit Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 the ASUS card is very hard to find... there are plenty of Sapphire cards with a lifetime warranty.
ccokeman Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 $449 was the target pricing. The same way that the 3870 was targeted at $219 and the 3850 was targeted for a $179 price point. I will say that when the clock speeds on the CPU were given a mild overclock I picked up almost 10fps in WIC and Call of Juarez. I chose those to test because with my 8800640 I never showed any significant fps change from 2.4GHz to 3.6GHz on my quad 6600. The CPU is now the bottleneck. I only tested a 600mhz OC on the CPU to get the almost 10FPS in WIC. The card has massive potential. I should be testing it with my 9770 at 4.3 so I can see when it the card becomes the bottleneck again.
