Multiple Crt Issues

Well i recently aquired a few CRT's (3 19"'s) and a 17". Im looking to set them all up on my desk for a large multy disply setup, will i run into any isseus will i run into any issues with 3-4 CRTs side by side, or above each other?

yes, the magnets will distort each other's displays, but they'd have to be RIGHT next to each other... probably a few inches gap would minimise or eliminate the distortion

Hmm i was planning a 2x3 setup 2 high, 3 long... with the crts on top of each other, and beside each other lined up.

i have my 2 19's and 21 touching sitting side by side and no problems i also had a 15 sitting ontop of the 21 for a time and it didnt cause any problems

Ive had two 17's right next to each other and had no distortion what so ever...

they'd have to be at different angles for it to right. if thier screeens are all lined up in a pefect line you're asking for distortion.

Good Point, Ive had all my mulit-monitor setups angled...

OR they're medical grade CRT's

 

 

but you'd KNOW those things. a 20" HP med grade CRT weighs in around 100lbs cuz of all the extra shielding.
