New Forum Layout

I just went on OCC to find the new forum layout with the Invision Power Board thing at the top. I thought I would open this thread to have everyone comment on the new design and/or features that are here now.

I personally think its good that the colours were kept, and that there is a better kind of profile. Some of the things when posting a topic now, like the buttons for bold/underlined/italics etc don't really fit in with what the rest of the page looks like I think.

anyways, I think things will change in the hours to come, but post away folks

 

Ohh, and a HUGE thanks already to all admins/staff members, especially bosco, for caring about OCC and getting some new stuff up. :thumbs-up:

BTW, the upgrade isn't even nearly done if you haven't noticed. That is why when posting a new message it's still in the default colors.

 

Otherwise, starting to look good, but a long ways to go also.

So far, so good.. I am assuming I will have to reupload my default picture, or am I wrong?

Clicking the bold, italic or anything doesn't work. In fact, none of them work yet (FF 2.0)

It's still a bit rough around the edges, but I think it's better to have the forums up and running with a few cosmetic issues that can be worked out later.

 

Definitely looking forward to the completed layout. Oh, and a little heads up, this is just the beginning. There are more changes to come

 

I was just browsing around, and the Top 10 Posters has been changed to Top 20. Hmm, looks like I should browse around a bit more to find some more hidden gems

And the new profiles look horrendous, and that's being nice. I tried it in FF and IE...the formatting is just way off with a bunch of stuff scrolling down the left side. I thought the previous format was perfect...don't know why it'd be changed.

 

Also, people's names aren't clickable links anymore...I hope that changes because I always liked being able to go to someone's profile if I wanted to check their specs, age or location before replying.

Wow this new layout is confusing, the post layout is even worse. Oh, and nothing works when you try to make a post. Please change it back lol, it was so much better like it was.

Im sure it will all be fixed at some point, its been less than 2 hours since they finished...
