road-runner Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Working on mine. I hope to get it going later. Not sure if I am going to pull the quad out of the other rig yet or not. I may just get it going with the E6850 for now.

kingdingeling Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Comp Dude, you're in @ firky, I've been busy the whole day, so I didn't really get much OCing done, but it's been folding at 3.2 for the day
road-runner Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Went ahead and pulled the quad and 2900xt out of my other rig and put in the E6850 and a cheap video card for Folding. Trying to get a stable OC established on the Utra 120 Extreme then I am going to water cool the quad and 2900...
kingdingeling Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Looks like the Quad will have to do it's work at 3.2 for now, I simply don't have time to OC right now School is killing me!

road-runner Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Looks like 3924 is about all I can get out of it for a 24/7 speed at regular room temp of 74-75f. I tried 3950 and up to 4Ghz but it fails as it is getting to warm with more volts. At 3924 I have to set the vcore to 1.525 in the bios. It drops to 1.472 idle, and when OCCT kicks in it drops to 1.456v. I am hitting 59-61c load with water cooling the 2900xt and the quad. I need to get those quad nozzles for the Fuzion I guess. It may do a little better after the arctic silver settles also. I am just really wonder if that extra 324mz is worth running the cpu at 1.525 setting, at 3600Mhz it only requires 1.3875v vcore setting in the bios.
