I think it looks pretty clean, but I could do without the texture. I think as a product cover it would grab hold of people more if there was more to the background.

I like the texture, just not over the entier thing.... See what happens if you apply it to just the background layer. It should make the rest stand out more.

It sort of detracts from the actual product. Rather than focusing on the black box, I'm left trying to figure out what was going through your mind when you did it

Take the texture off of the aircraft and i think you will have a winner.

Yeah the black box makes me think of a sort of space flying program and I don't think thats what it is. How about a nice bit of scenery or sky or greenery in the background, blurred slightly so that it's not the focus. Heck if you really want to stick with black, make it flying over a city and put some skyscrapers in the background, that would look awesome! Just city lights in the back... and ditch the texture.
