Should I Upgrade?

I have a 10Mbps down, 1Mbps up.

Now same ISP is offering 30Mbps down, 2Mbps up for $45.00 monthly

But im not paying nothing now because my ex wife works for them (we divorced 2 years ago and I still have this 'good deal'

What would you guys do? :blink:

what country do they offer those speeds for that price?  not in the USA, not without some sort of catch like a bandwidth limit per month or something

actually it is in the US, New York City. $45. 1st year for new customers, $55. if you already have optimum online

so in my case it would be $55 but i still think its not bad, a friend of mine pays $75 for 5Mbps (RR)

something about that isn't right.......reminds me of those Net Zero 15x faster dialup commercials............, or maybe it is because New York is a major hub backbone point and the bandwidth costs less for the ISP from the backbone provider......

 

i mean, i am paying $45/mo for 6Mbps down, 384kbps up from Comcast, would be $55 if I was not a cable TV subscriber
