Mr Ham Cake Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Ya i took my first drving test with my instructor and omg, i thought i crapped my pants, maybe i'm a seafood or something, but there is too much going on all at once. After a while I got use to it but man, it just crazy, seeing the streets is very different when you are driving. I had no idea where i was when I was driving, you guys have any tips to help myself relaxed just a bit? Maybe it was just because it was my first time, once I start driving with my parents (which I can now) with my permit "acctivated". But who would want to drive with a crazy 15 year old? lol

I rember before when i took my test i was shaky, then i went and took the test and i failed. My parents never let me drove until i passed, they thought I was too stupid. Then after practiving somemore with my instructor , I went shaking again and Forutnaly passed it. JUS PRACTICE!/

Idk how im going to do on my driving test but i do know that night driving helps sence there arnt people on the road. AT least it helped for me Or mby im just a rly good driver, i guess it came naturally. the first time i ever drove it was like 11ish with my moms BRAND new toyota camery full of friends, girls, durgs, alchole.... . I remember being very scared. Music helped me and the fact that i had friends in the car and i look 18ish and so does my good friend that was in the front with me. But music, friends, and just plane old relaxing and taking it easy helps alot. Edited November 23, 2005 by Fireonice

bigred Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Like everyone said, you need to just relax. but here's another thing for you... don't force the wheel to make the car go where you want to go... it has to be natural, smooth and easy). after that part, only parallel parking is nasty
Ste Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 (edited) Bigred that reminds me, I was never taught parallel parking, but I had to do it one day and I had no problems at all, I was never even told how to do it, all I know is that you had to pull forward and back up, and so forth till car was straight. I deserve a gold Star . jk. Edited November 23, 2005 by Ste

Waco Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Driving is just something you have to do to get used to. If you can, practice driving a car with a manual transmission so you get used to doing so many things at once...after you do that, driving an automatic seems boring.
