Rivets

What's with case makers using rivets to install a case window?

It looks tacky.... I know how to make my own using

silicon and a makeshift seal, but I want something that looks professional.

Anyone have any good suggestions for cases with windows that

don't use rivets?

You can always make "S" shaped brackets (more like the drawing) that the window will slide snug fit in the interior if you do 3 sides out of say alu. for easy folding

if you dont like the rivets then just drill them out and install some bolts of your choice

What I meant was the whole "bolts" look is tacky in my opinion.

I'm looking for store bought cases that look nice, not an alternative

method of doing it myself.

I've been checking out Xoxide for a while now... They've got some nice

cases. I'm just saying in general if anyone knows any w/ out

rivets because the more I look around, the less and less I'm seeing

that don't have any.

Volcom are you looking for a full or mid tower that would help us help you find a sweet case with out rivets/bolts for the windows

I'm open to either... I've always wanted an alluminum full tower though

w/ a window. I've seen a few cool ones on newegg and xoxide but

most of the good looking ones don't have windows or look like crap

because the windows installed have bolts holding the window on.

Also should mention the black alluminum ones usually catch my eye a little

better.

Prolly alotof people are going to suggest some of the Lian-li's which are really nice.

Some of them dont have windows.....well actually, alot of them dont, but their black and sturdy and mod happy

I've been up all night lookin at cases and parts and I agree...

Lian Li has some sweet cases. The V1200 catches my eye but

it's expensive and doesn't come with a window.

My Tsunami's window is held on with those, they don't look half bad. I can send you a pic of them if you want.
