The Fun That You Can Have With Firefox...

Hey everyone.

I don't know how many of my fellow OCer's know this small fact, but Mozilla's Firefox has really awsome support for 3'rd party extensions.

If you haven't heart about them here are a few:

Adblock: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/morei...ication=firefox

Once installed, it's a snap to filter elements at their source-address. Just right-click: Adblock: done. Filters use either the wildcard character (*) or full Regular Expression syntax. Hit the status-element and see what has or hasn't been blocked.

I use this one all the time for just about every site that i visit daily.

Gmail Notifier: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/morei...ication=firefox

This one is also very handy if you have a Gmail accont

And my favorite....

Leet Key:

https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=770

Transforms typed or static text to L337, ROT13, BASE64, HEX, URL, BIN, Morse code and DVORAK keyboard layout and back again.

Now has Morse code and DVORAK keyboard layout support. Allows typing Morse code with a single button: Space Bar.

There are many others, but these are just some of my favorite.

a little less "neato" but more pratical, I like the "view page in IE" and "Bug me not" extensions, in fact it's hard to live with out them.

Stimmt! Bug me not is probably the most useful out of any extensions out there! I saw a demo of it on tech tv probably a year ago and couldn't wait to get it.
