warl0rd Posted March 1, 2003 Posted March 1, 2003 ASUS's are the best for AMD CPUs, they provide the thermal protection that other motherboard manufacturers do not. Although, I must admit, the positioning of my RAM slots on my A7V333 is too close to the heatsink. I don't think there will ever be a perfect motherboard. sYstEmATiC Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 (edited) i have a gigabyte GA-7VAXP mobo and before that i had an MSI..... i had so many problems... mainly with bios eugh!!! i never go back to MSI.but i am so pleased with my GigaByte!! it has great performance and graet OC! asus borads have a very good performance.. and OC capabillities... i agree...i have the GA-7VAXP also and it rocks......onthe otherhand, i have an asus CUSL2-C socket 370 mobo with the intel i815E chipset...i have had a lot of trouble with it.....and i also had an asus geforce4mx and i had trouble with it also. i dont know if ill ever buy from asus again. BTW:with andrusk's comment on page 4...if i were to choose a board based on looks....i would choose that new Lan Party board.
