Mad Cow Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I am making a set of 80 word 2003 documents which I need to convert all over to pdf files. Is there a program that could take the selection of the documents and convert them all over to pdf files at once? I am using pdf995 (free) at the moment, but I am having some problems right now. Any recomendations?
mantonr Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 i was under the impression that u had to use some acrobat thingy to actually make the files. u tried googling for a conversion tool?
cybergrunt69 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I don't know about a proggy that can do batch changes, but if you use OpenOffice, you can save directly to PDF. If you've got some heavy Word formatting, the conversion can get messed up, but the newest version (1.9 beta) does fairly well. henbenley Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 If you can acquire (legally of course) a copy of Adobe Acrobat (full version-not the free pdf reader) then you can save them into PDFs. GOod Luck!!
Mad Cow Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Okay, thanks guys. I couldnt remember from work whether openoffice could save to pdf. I really think that the adobe solution would be the best. Thanks again!
