jsu Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Here are some pics of the gpu cascade i put together tonight. it was a gpu dd unit (tuned) until a couple hours ago. now its a gpu cascade. please dont judge me on this one, it was thrown together pretty darn quickly excuse the blurry pics

slayer2cool Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 you trying to say you have a cascade for your gpu alone??? WOW!!
jsu Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 yeah, cascades are normaly for direct dye application. so that would mean only one chip. does a prommy cover you gpu also?
slayer2cool Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 hmmm i dont know bout you, but if im not wrong i have seen some ppl who uses slight bigger unit and cool both the gpu and cpu using cascade lol phase changing on a gpu is a tat overkill for me
jsu Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 No people use single stage chillers for the cpu and gpu, a cascade has 2 stages and is ver very cold but doesnt have as much capcatiy there fore using it as a chillewr isnt so smart. the11ama Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Nuclear would be the best to address this... he had a triple phase change setup; can't remember how now.

jsu Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 iam not addressing anything iam stating something. cascades are not used for chillers atm they dont have enough capcity. direct dye may have 2 evaporaters but those are normaly on single stages seing as cascades with r1150 dont have that much capctiy. bowman mad a triple evap co2 cascade.
