d3bruts1d Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 It'll be impossible to reproduce the exact shootings....It's just a publicity stunt imo Probably. But I downloaded a nice aim bot that I'm tempted to try. j/k
sykocus Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Is killing nameless enemy solders in BFV, BF1942, MoH, CoD, BHD, or any of these other simulated war games really any different? They may not have names in the game, but they are based on people from history. People, who died, people who had families. People like JFK. If there was a similar game where you could assassinate Stalin, Hitler, Moore, Osama, Saddam, or a number of other people, would that be acceptable? the main difference in both those cases, is war and you would be taking on the role of a foreign enemy. the jkf game is more like taking on the role of John Perterson and the act he has been convicted of, or OJ, or the Ramses, the list of controversal murders goes on. GTSticky Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Seems like a pretty lame way to make a buck. Of course just by nature of it being so offensive it'll get publicity, so they will probably make quite a bit. I'm not partial to it myself, it seems stupid, but anything that Ted Kennedy doesn't like probably has some merit to it somehow. ClayMeow Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 So if next year the same company puts out a game called 9/11 Reloaded, and you get to reenact the horrific acts of flying two planes into the World Trade Center and a third into the Pentagon...and they rewarded $100,000 to the person who could reenact it perfectly, would THAT be okay????? After all, it's all in the name of educating the public
