I had the very same problem on 4 systems....the problem is in your boot.ini. You have invalid paths designated for the wrong partition. The only way to fix this...is to do what i listed in this post. :bah:

but, i was just using it yesterday all i did was reformat it. Jesus i hope it isnt i go through hard drives like cutting through paper

You say it's freshly formatted.... it SHOULDN'T boot. Am I wrong? I don't understand this... If a HD doesn't have an OS on it, it won't boot. You need to install an OS...
