Hyper Threaded Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I'm not going to be posting here for probably a couple of weeks. Having problems with my main WD hd, it's going to need to be replaced. I don't have anyother drive I can use. There's always the Dell I can use, but that thing is a total nightmare to use. Of course, I'm gonna come back when I get the new HD. Just letting you all know why I'm not active.

Hyper Threaded Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 The drive will be an exact replacement of the one I have now. I'm RMA'ing it. So it will be a WD2000JD

Hyper Threaded Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 With the computer off, I broke the plastic connector on the drive, it's stuck inside the SATA data cable. I managed to fix the pins, and position the cable in such a manner that it works, but it's not proper. All I was doing was trying to improve the wire routing, and it popped off. My room tends to be dry, so it was just brittle.
