daniel Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Ok... i got a P3 system... but it doesnt want to power on... u can turn it on... but nothing will load on the screen... the screen wont turn on... I changed the vid card.... and it didnt work... I tried everything.... My hypothesis... is that the CPU or the MOBO is dead... can u guys help me... virus Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I had that exact same problem with my dfi the first time I installed it, I reset the cmos and nothing it still did the same thing, so I unpluged everything and took out the battery on my motherboard and let it sit for an hour put the battery back and pluged it all back in and everything came on including the monitor.
