BloodySunday Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Get a lense cloth one that you would use for glasses or a camera lense and get eye glass lense cleaner and spray it directly on to the cloth and then use where you sprayed on the cloth to wipe the monitor. Thats what I used to do on my LCD and I do the same thing for my CRT.

I use this method on my laptop screen- works great.
darreljaeger83 Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Is it true that if you spray the LCD screen itself and leave the liquid on there too long it makes the plastic screen foggy?
Silverfox Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 ^^ use a camera cloth that is mildly damp (ie, a lint-free cloth) - careful with t-shirts as they can leave fibres behind! anything that is designed to clean optics is likely to be a safe bet. edit: be careful with the fluid though - water works quite well when slightly warm
