New Socket A Heatsink

From the looks of it, it should be extremely effective. Heat will flow through the heat-pipes to the fins and get blown off by the fan. It's a much better system because the fan isn't wasting energy trying to cool the base, if those heat-pipes do their job, this will be some pretty slick cooling.

well that is how heatpipes should work :D its like a thousand times better at transfering heat away as compared to just 1 solid copper metal and heat moving away from the core.. but i think main problem with heatpipes is the physical position of the pipes itself...it needs gravity to work for it and not against it...so how you place that heatsink or any other heatpipes heatsink will affect performance.. even if you have a tornado blowing on it :P
