Sylo Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 Hey, i am on stock cool and my cpu stays at about 47* C when idle and the highest i have seen it get is 56* C when rendering videos/playing games... i dont have any oced right now, though i would like oc the cpu and video card sometime.. also i have a K8N Neo2 Mobo and the core center porgram that came with it says that the system temp is 12*c..... i am guessing that is not working right not sure why though... it has a place for the NB temp but not show me the temp of it.... is there any way yo get these to work? amd i have a amd 3800+ nvidia 6800gt 1gig ocz performance ram Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Whitelightning Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 That isn't all that bad but I would try and get it lower, maybe get some after market cooling...57c load for me is just too high...most people try and stay below 50c under load....but it will not fry the cpu at 57c... worker Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 If you got a 80mm cooler it goes down to 90-100F degress thats what mine stays at I got the volcano 9.
