jammin Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Static wrist bands are useful because they proctect your components from static electricity (which could seriously damage you hardware). They go around your wrist and then connect to a ground point (like your case.. on a metal bit of course). Unless you have problems with static electricity in your house/room (static shocks on door knobs etc..) then you don't really need to use one. jammin Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 You can buy disposable ones as they are cheap to make.. plus they are the sort of thing you might only ever use once.
