FM53 Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 What should I do? Keep my Barton 2800+ or sale it to my son and buy the 3200, or what would you guys suggest or do? He needs a new processor so he is going to purchase one anyways (wants to upgrade from a 1800XP). He can get a 2700 for under $100.00, but would take mine if I wanted to upgrade. Let me know guys. exeter_acres Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I personally don't feel the 64bit platform is quite ready for me waiting a couple months for the platform to figure itself out... ie: if you by a 64 bit chip now, it is probably of a pin configuration and platform that is already dead... once the 939pin configuration is out (may be already, I haven't bothered keeping up....) then probably...
