i just havent modded my printer yet due to the fact that i havent had the money to grab a cathode.... in case you forgot

my 440 died a couple of months back i am going stick a large clump of semtex in it and watch it light up MUHAAAHAAAHAAA

I havent extended the cathode cable,

 

the inverter is inside the printer

 

i just "made" an extension with male and female molex plugs then ran it through an empty expansion slot,

 

insta powa to the modded printer lol

 

(extension made possible by my latest craze of burning out power supplies..... Disecting PSU's is fun, the fan, molex connectors, etc..... B) all come in handy eventually lol)

that cold cathode looks kinda big the ones i buy dont come with a chucky bit on the end they look like this really thin

that chunky bit is the inverter.....

it sits right beside the cathode.....
