Braegnok Posted November 6, 2018 If it's a genuine retail key not OEM,.. than you should be fine. If your son ever wants to change computers. As long as the licence is no longer in use on the old computer, he can transfer the licence to the new one. How to uninstall product key: Press Windows key + X Click Command Prompt (admin) At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk Hit Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer and set it back to trial mode, you are now free to use key on another computer. If you buy an OEM key it is only good for original computer it is activated on, you can not transfer the licence.
ir_cow Posted November 6, 2018 Yep any key will work on the M$ ISO. Keys are easy to find / buy if you are okay with OEM.

laspomkj Posted Wednesday at 10:58 AM (edited) What is the difference between OEM and Retail Box packaging? Edited Wednesday at 10:58 AM by laspomkj
Smough Posted Wednesday at 11:00 AM (edited) The retail version of the software is the complete version of the software, which includes the installation disk(s), certificate of authenticity (if provided by the manufacturer), and critical code/product serial number (if applicable). The software https://softwaredeal.store/ does not come in a retail box, includes printed manuals, and does not entitle you to free technical support from the manufacturer. You can always find the "Help" files in your area. OEM software is only available in the "full version," which means there are no OEM products to upgrade. OEM software can be upgraded to future versions of the software by purchasing a compatible upgrade product.
