cjloki Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 ok well i just bought a Logitech Z506 5.1 from the Walmart online,...my fear is that it won't last as long as the old ones but it will be set up in surround sound configuration so we'll see... ccokeman Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Seem to be a lot of options but I wish I could find a replacement for my Klipsh 5.1 setup. I think I will just pick up a powered sub and connect the speakers to my old 7.1 surround sound amp that lost the capability to be remotely controlled. Dynamic Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) Logitech is one of the main brands I hear about for PC speakers, so I guess you are good. Kind of makes me want to setup my old Logitech 5.1 speakers, but i'll need to reinstall my Sound Blaster Z, hehe. Been using a Razer Headset for a year now, so. Anyhow good luck with your new toy and let us know how it sounds. Edited October 3, 2017 by Dynamic

AkakmanH Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Something you might think about is a set of quality headphones like the Klipsch Reference. That is, if you do not mind wearing headphones. Plus keeps the games noise from other family members. Cost is $200. potatochobit Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) if your computer has bluetooth get these, make sure it comes with the remote if you buy a used one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Insignia-NS-HBTSS116-Powered-Bluetooth-Bookshelf-Speakers-Pair-Black/372028755470?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 it also has a subwoofer output so you can find a cheap polk subwoofer this black friday if you want to get even more advanced and since it is bluetooth, you can play music directly from your phone or PS VITA, etc. as well.
