Cespenar Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Son needs a stronger Video card. In the card forum Waco noticed he needs a better power supply. I'll post Dan's rig but think "Add a GTX680" The question is: Will a Corsair 650HX gold run it or will he need a 750 or even an 850. paulktreg Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 The HX650 will be more than enough.
d6bmg Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 (edited) yeah, HX650 is more than enough unless you plan to add another 680 in future. I wonder how that Extreme power 600 PSU powered that GTX560ti up. That is a very bad PSU. Edited April 2, 2013 by d6bmg

That is a very bad PSU. Well, he did start to get BSOD's. He discovered one thing that could cause it, but would that old PSU cause BSOD's? He has ordered a Corsair 850HX. d6bmg Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Reason of BSOD can only be determined after analyzing the BSOD code and dump file. It could be anything - and yes, one of those probabilities also include PSU.
