skyjam Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 i don't know if this is true or not but i've heard that you can take fans apart and re-grease them from the inside... i don't know how one would go about that but i have a fan that i believe to be acting up and that is one of the things that has been suggested to me as an alternative to buying a new one. Well.. I've been investigating and I found one I could buy is this (looks like the one you say): http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-430564788-cooler-master-excalibur-120mm-12cm-2000rpm-aleta-removible-_JM Easy for cleaning
RHKCommander959 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Electric motor oil - sewing machine or 1/4 WATT, or other name Remove sticker, put drop oil in the hole. Spin fan by hand. Put sticker on back again. Leave fan sideways and let it run for 10-20 minutes then install fan again. If it works for 3 hours just by you moving it, it could probably be saved.
