has anyone ever taken the hs fan and flipping it upside down? ive did this a few days ago and i got at least 4 degrees cooler on my cpu. i know this isnt a huge leap in degrees but 4 is 4 less then when i started. i was thinking of using this with a fan duct mod blowing cool air towards the cpu. what do you think?

This has been discussed MANY times.... each persons results will vary...

most heat sinks are designed to have the fan blowing down on to it...

However, I had better results witha Volcano9 with it pulling the air up....

and on my SLK-800, it didn't matter ...

but blowing down does help a bit wiht chipset temps...

Try it both ways and measure the temps and stick with the way that works best in your case...

There is no wrong way ;)
