scr4wl Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 A friend of mine gave me a Pentium 4 and Pentium D to test for him. (He was unsure as to whether his board or his chips were dead) Anyway, while checking to see if the first chip worked I decided to throw up the voltage an reference clock just to see what it could do on a self contained water unit. I dropped the memory multiplier as low as it would go, just because I wasn't sure how far this chip would go. His Pentium D is up next. scr4wl Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The Pentium D wasn't as good. 4GHz required upwards of 1.5v
