Muchoman1 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 So, is the rampage 3 formula able to raid on the sata 3 ports? Cause I'm having trouble getting it to run. Tomorrow I will dig out the manual, till then raid will have to wait
bigball1 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Looks like only the Intel controller does raid. Not the marvel, so no sata 3 for you.

Muchoman1 Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 so i installed them and ran a sisoftsandra, getting 500mbps read and writes through the raid 0 atm, thats because i have to run them on sata2 for raid with my current mobo, but im getting the sr3 soon so i dont mind hopefully on the new mobo i will get around 1gbps read/writes, which i should hit as alone these drives are around 500-550 in reads and writes, so heres hoping!
