smokeyvdberg Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 hay guys!! this will probably sound stupid, but i have like 3 open CD ROM bays so what i was wondering is do u get like a socket or something so that i can mount a 120 mm fan to increase my airflow..... it does have mesh for the air to pass through!! I'm using the cooler master HAF

Boinker Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Go to this link mountain mods and scroll down. They make alot of cool things but there is where you will find a nice bay converter.
sword_fish Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 if only you still have 4 empty slots; a 140mm fan will surely fit in there. i have it in my case (Lian-Li's Lancool Dragon Lord PC-K56), tho different makes but definitely our ODD bays measured the same. anyways, you can use some zip ties for a neater look (if you omitted the modding fan brackets) to fasten the 120mm/140mm fan with it's four corner holes within the ODD bay.
