Muchoman1 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Hi all, I have got crossfired 6970s and i just got eyefintiy screens *yay*. I am running 2 of the screens off the DVI ports and the third one off a miniDP to DVI adapter. The screen on the adapter works just fine but the two others show the image about an inch in from every side. If i switch the screen on the adapter the 'faulty' screen works fine but the on that was fine has the same problem. Yes i am running all three screens of one card. Yes i have tried with just one screen and it still has the same problem (adapter is fine, DVI port isnt). These screens are ASUS screens that only support VGA and HDMI, but they come with DVI->HDMI adaptor cables. Anyone know how to fix this? This is a real bummer cause eyefinity was so close... Speedway Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Is the miniDisplayPort to DVI adapter an Active adapter?
imm0rt41 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Is there an auto-adjust button on the monitors? I see this every now and again at work, and we can usually get it fixed by adjusting the monitors themselves.
bp9801 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Are all three monitors identical or all different models? You may need to adjust the scaling on them through the CCC. Also, its probably better to wait longer than 4 hours before bumping a topic. The adapter is active and all the screens are the same model. And sorry about the bump, but with the flood of 590 posts shortly after i posted this, it dropped off the page

I'd still see if the scaling got messed up somehow for the other two monitors which can be checked in the CCC. Also, like imm0rt41 suggested, see if there is an adjustment option on the monitor itself that can get the picture centered. You're connecting them via a DVI to HDMI adapter for everything right? ccokeman Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I just used that configuration to test performance for my 590 review. Did you choose to use bezel correction by chance during the panel setup ?
