When you overclock to higher CPU overclocks, you also need to adjust for VCCIO voltage. Once I hit 4.9GHz, I have to adjust my VCCIO to 1.1V's or I will get mem errorrs or BSOD's. Also, I've seen on other sites that you can get higher multi's while lowering your BCLK. Others seems to keep the lower multi's while raising BCLK. Plus, since the MCP35x is kind of loud, I only run it at 20% - 25% speed so I can't hear it. I think if I used my better watercooling set-up, I wouldn't have to worry about temps as much. 4.4GHz does seem like the best 24/7 overclock so far. My 24/7 overclock is 4.5Ghz @ 1.265v Idle: 30c (hottest core) Load: 50c (Hottest core) My highest overclock is 5.5Ghz @ 1.55v in bios (1.58 in windows). I ran Super Pi 1M and 32M which gave me some extremly fast scores. I didn't test stability, but i'll presume it wasn't Prime 95 stable . I fyou want to see the Super PI results let me know, i just don't want to fill the thread with pictures if no one is interested . I also had a stable 5Ghz overlcock where i ran 3DMark Vantage and 3Dmark 11 and 3dMark 06 . The 2600K is a great chip. Realistically running the chip at 5.5Ghz with 1.58v is just insane and it's not something i'm going to do, but it's nice to have the ability to crank it up and run a few benchmarks before going back to something a little more reasonable. From what i've heard the engineering samples didn't overclock nearly as well as the D2 retail chips.
