Nagash Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 (edited) I am using the rig in sig with win98se and I am trying to install a sound blaster live soundcard due to the fact that soundstorm really screws up my audio in a few games (Splinter Cell, and Diablo 2 namely). No matter what I do when I install the soundcard I can't get windows to use it rather than the onboard audio. The drivers install fine and it says everything is working, but it still uses the onboard. Any help would be appreciated. Nagash Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 The sound ocellates very badly in said games. To the point where you can't even understand voices or anything. The volume also goes up and down considerably. I'm not certain that its the Soundstorm, if the same things happens with the soundblaster I'll report back here.
