Kondour Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 What is a pelt, what does a pelt do? Please im new to this. If you can provide any links or personal knowledge that would be great. thanks
Overclocker16 Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 Pelt = Peltier. Its a block that one side gets extremely cold while the other side gets extremely hot. Keeping the hot side as cold as you can keeps the colder side colder.
Kondour Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 and these i guess can be aircooled and watercooled?
Psywar Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 yeah no water block.. Its not that heavy.. and the Socket does not support the heatsink&Fan anyways.. It actually screws in to the motherboard.. and I hooked it up just to make sure it would hold I was kinda skeptical Myself.. As for my dremel.. It trys to spin when I turn it on.. so I am going to try and replace the brushes on it.. hopefully that will fix it.. If not.. I hope I can find a dremel that goes faster then 35,000 rpms mwhahaha! Oh And as for the 120mm fan not being big enough I could try to attach the 172mm fan
