pfn_list_corrupt BSODs

Recommended Posts

just yesterday my gamer started having random bsods again with the pfn_list_corrupt message and i'm at a loss as to why...the last time it did this (like a month ago) it happened so frequently that i reinstalled w7 pro 64 bit clean...so that lasted for awhile but apparently isn't the fix.....anybody have any clue as to what to try next to eliminate this i'm all ears....:-/ sighs and frustration...

after a quik search on google ram seems to be the culprit.Alternate fix for some was a bios update.

thanx doc and wildman....i guess i can go thru the machine again and check everything....memtests have found no problems yet but i have a set of mushkin redline 1600's i can use for testing if need be...i'm in the newest bios for my board (f 9) .....so ok ....i also saw where some drivers are rumored to cause this but there isn't a real good explanation of how to find and stop the culprit... :nyea:

Run the memory check, and try to update your mobo bios, that fixed my issues
