Waco Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Why would you build such an expensive system without checking to make sure the parts actually worked together properly?

CowKing Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 you could simply e-mail EVGA support and ask them yourself
Drdeath Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Never fret, there are bios hacks and your board can run crossfire. I have never done it but I have read it can be done...... http://www.maximumpc...._certification Unsupported BIOS can't be installed using the built-in QFlash utility, and instead requires using the DOS-based SPIFLASH utility. Still a relatively easy hack considering no physical modifications to the board itself need sto be done. http://www.associate....herboards.html
xchrissypoox Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I'm pretty sure that board supports crossfire, as in positive in fact. So don't buy a new board. go to 00:25 Do you have crossfire bridges set up correctly?
ir_cow Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 i never ran quadfire but i'm sure really any board with 2x PCIe can run crossfire. best thing to do is email evga and double check how you have the bridges connected. better yet go into the Ati panel and make sure crossfire is checked lol.
