Shadowtroop Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 so i just bought a pre-owned 5970 and it dosent seem to want to work. we tested it out on the sellers computer and it worked flawlessly. itake it to a friends house and it crashes as soon as anything GPU intesive loads up.i just downloaded the 10.6 drivers as well. what could be the problem? i dont know if this matters but the guy i bought it from had an alienware. paulktreg Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Is the power supply up to it? Edit: A good quality 500W will be OK but a 650W would be best.
