Drdeath Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 (edited) I would like to initiate a benchmark comparison. All the reviews never compare at the same core speed. I hope the forum moderators let this continue. The rules are as follows: All benchmarks run at 4GHz. No higher. Disable Crossfire or SLI. Run the benchmark with a single GPU. Run memory at 1600MHz Post a screenshot with CPUID x 2 and the benchmark. Post system specs- Processor/GPU with core and memory speeds Here is a sample of screen shot with superpi(1M) Intel i7 930 @4Ghz Powercolor 5870 @ 900/1300 Edited May 3, 2010 by Drdeath
sdy284 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 waiting for this: FPS good but CPU low. I get 7.9 on my CPU with sig rig at 4.3Ghz if that can be any reference. http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.p...=175160&hl= and here's my benchmark since you didn't really specify anything, I still think i have room to improve

Opps that was 7.42 on CPU @ 4.46GHz sry my memory is shot!!!!!! You can see it on the screen shot here on 11.5 Cinebench above. ClayMeow Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 psh, that doesn't count. you're not OC'd to 4ghz, n00b Even if I put it on dry ice, I think my laptop would fry

Drdeath Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 The objective of this thread is to compare performance @4GHz. The variables will be CPU/GPU/HDD. Please put memory @ 1600MHz. Hopefully we will get a few systems semi-similiar to see how the AMD 6 cores perform with some of the same benchmarks. I realize most of mine are synthetice but some people will post various different of benchmarks.
joel.monteiro Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 how come sdy got a lower score than u in the the cinebench with the same clock speeds?
sdy284 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 thats actually a good question, It may have something to do with cinebench thinking my CPU is @ 3.8ghz... but CPUz reads 4.0 i'm not really sure
Drdeath Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 (edited) Let's get some AMD 6 core benchies going! Edited May 7, 2010 by Drdeath
RobBan-Swe Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 You have to wait until somebody by AMD 6core by misstake
