Haf 932 watercooled

Recommended Posts

Greetings boinker, I just purchased my new rig recently and I have the exact same full ATX casing and I've been looking to invest in integrating a WC setup in my rig. Pardon my lack of knowledge for WC or rather ZERO knowledge for WC, but I was wondering if you could help me out on the advised parts to purchase and how to go about assembling.

I will also refer to the tutorials to get a general outline of the assembly.

Thanks in advance.

When I get the opertunity to post a modders log about this case and its trials ill send you a pm. I just got it running again dispite all odds. so I now have my water cooling set-up "closer" to the way I want it. less the bio build-up.

Bio build up, I suppose we would refer to that as bacteria build up due to moisture? Right now I've found a 2 in 1 water block for my MOBO which covers pretty much the north and south bridge, tubing wise, of its type, I believe only you can give the best advice. Once again thanks for the reply.

No offense, but I highly doubt the bio build up in Boniker's loop was due to moisture. More than likely, it was a contamination of some sorts along with the distilled water. This can be prevented with the use of a biocide in conjunction with distilled water

Ahh Noted. Biocide to kill bacteria, don't think they have any of those here, well WC solutions isn't very popular where I come from =(. That aside... I believe we are able to use other coolants other than distilled water? I'm not too sure on this one, but I read through a couple of articles, seems they have come up with special solutions for the runs in these WC setups.

i asked basically the same thing when i was starting my WC setup. this is what xchrissypoox posted on my thread it should help u learn the fundamentals about it

where to buy:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/

http://www.petrastechshop.com/

http://www.frozencpu.com/

what to buy (it doesn't have xspc RX series listed but they're the same as Feser TFC X-Changer and thermochill PA rads and is cheaper then them (note only the RX series by xspc):

http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/show...ad.php?t=282232

How to Watercool:

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=4596

Very basic diagram of how to set up a loop, not the only way obviously:

http://extreme.outervision.com/flowdesigner.jsp

the t-line or the reservoir always comes before the pump in order to prevent the pump from running dry.

Ps. i got my rad and fans today. no pump yet its out-stock !!!! shipping was 2 days with ncix. amazingly fast for across the country.

Hey I need some opinions. Im debating on weather to get another radiator into the Loop over the next couple of weekends to Throw a second radiator behind the waterblock to cool it down and be there until I can afford a GTX 285 to Shove a waterblock in. The water-cooling will only cool the GPU proc itself and the mem-mosfets will be cooled with passive Air cooling. let me know what you guys think.
