dling Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Do u think that lapping a v10 heat sink would make it worse? I lapped mine when I first got it and when I run occt for a test it stops right a way saying its to hot. Ive looked at my temps and they run very hot under load . Over 85deg. C. :(

xchrissypoox Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 poor lap job? I doubt its the coolers fault, I can't be making contact very well to be hotter than stock. Is the cpu lapped?

Keishii~89 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Go to square one here guys. Firstly, Thermal compound? what are you using ? next, how much are you using? after that, the fan on the V10, What's it running at? Full speed or low? Are you installing the HSF in the diagonal fashion, putting ENOUGH pressure on the CPU?
