clayderine Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 i mean so it can keep the cpu on at least a few minutes =) coz when i use my lapache phasor 600 watt to back up my aero cool 600 watt it's completely black out in no time so i think that the ups not strong enough,, should i get higher watt ups? uhm,, if i use positron 1000 watt can i hold lcd 22" with my rig? thx before and i want to know the how much max watt that the 600 watt ups can hold,, ? ?? Andrewr05 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Look online, the manufacturers website (or the documentation it came with) will tell you exactly how long it will run at X watts for X minutes. You'll usually want to get one at 1.5-2 times the power you will actually be drawing because your runtime will increase quite a bit. OwinC Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Possibly 6 or 7 minutes or more. My APC 1500va can last over 10 min. I have it set to shut down at 8 minutes.
