Nuclear Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 The modding and H2O bug hit me a few weeks ago, so I decided to take my joy of a case and add a little water to it. I read quite a lot where people said the Antec 300 is not very easy to water-cool without heavy modifications but I figured with a little planning I could make it happen without much of a headache. The parts: Antec 300 Case DTek Fuzion V2 CPU Block Swiftech MCR-220 Dual 120MM Rad Swiftech 355 Pump with XSPC top Feser 1/2" ID tubing Here's the one pic I have so far, my camera died and it's way too late for me to setup all my lighting...so I'll take some better pics tomorrow. Post any questions you have, I'll post more information and pics tomorrow
battery Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 wow this makes me want to cut into my 300. i like the paint job. all i see that you had to do was cut the hard drive rail off.
Nuclear Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I had to cut the hard drive cages out, and modify the front to fit the fans in the stock locations. The paint is old and the case is going to get powder coated this week, I just wanted to make sure the parts fit and all the cuts were final. Nuclear Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 A good friend of mine owns a custom paint and power coating business, so I'm getting everything done for a Caraba's Gift Certificate for he and his girlfriend

ccokeman Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 That is one heck of a fit job though. I did not think it was possible on a 300 without major surgery after playing with a couple 900's. Here's the bane of my existence right now.
Nuclear Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 That is one heck of a fit job though. I did not think it was possible on a 300 without major surgery after playing with a couple 900's. Quite a few people tried to convince me that it was not possible to fit a 240MM rad in the case, along with the pump and accessories. The rad fits very nice once you remove the stock spacing bar and notch the bottom for the fans to slide in. As you can see the rad is zip tied in tight now but I have a custom bracket that will be powder coated along with the case. I need a stock 300 side panel in case anyone knows where I can pick one up. I picked this case up from my wife's brother after he attempted a window mod that went a little shaky. He saw a window in my comp and decided he could do it with a hand saw and some sand paper
