davidst Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 All you have to do is call the motherboard manufacture and they will send you a bios chip for about $15. I know Abit did for me.

ccokeman Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 The X48 DQ6 is a good choice but the P45 chipset boards are cheaper.

hardnrg Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 if you are sick of the 680i nonsense, I suggest you skip 780i too and get 790i or X58 680i sucks
Vermino Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 noob question - why do some MOBO's have "Max LAN Speed Dual 10/100/1000Mbps"? is this for more ISP's connections or to connect more ethernets from one ISP for less bottlenecking? anyways i looked at the X58's and they dont support LGA 775 (so that's a no go) i've been looking at EVGA NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI ATX or ASUS Striker II Extreme NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra but i'm open to any suggestions.
