n4mr3h Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 XP, vista has only caused me problems. But consider vista if you want 4GB RAM.

Captainlnsano Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I'm thinking about throwing Vista on my new hard drive I got for Black Friday. Picked up 4 gigs of RAM, thats why. Also, Vista came with my laptop, and I use that so often I've kind of gotten used to it now. Hopefully things work out!
RSC08 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Go for Vista. Vista 64 if you have 4GB ram. You'll see it works very well.
wiewior1984 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I won't install Vista until tehre is stable SP2 for it. right now for gaming I'm using XP and haven't any problems so far.
moiraesfate Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 (edited) When I loaded sp3 for xp, my computer got the blue screen of death and kept rebooting. I went into safe mode and deleted the update and all was fine again. sp3 is NOT all its cracked up to be. I'll be using Vista Premium 64 with my new computer with that stupid annoying UAC turned OFF.
