Iggy Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Hey guys, I got an idea. Could you put the radiator for your wc setup into a mini rerigerator? Would this help/work at all? Would you need any fans on the radiator if you put it in something that chilled it? Thanks.

asus Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 well, there may be too much condensation?? Does anybody els agree?
Iggy Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 Actually, there wouldn't be that much condensation, since a mini frig cools to about 40 degrees farenheit, and the water wouldn't be spending that much time in the radiator anyway, so it shouldn't cool it down to the point where condesation will form. Shock.r Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 Ive put a complete motherboard in a mini frig, didnt work that well, the frig was "too mini" it couldnt keep up with the cooling...also most frigs have a condinsator in them if not just dont turn the frig down to a low temp

kobalt Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 You could also put it outside the window and run the garden hose trough the rad you would save on electricity no fan at all (yes it's a joke )
JmartyG Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 You could also put it outside the window and run the garden hose trough the rad you would save on electricity no fan at all (yes it's a joke ) or just do what i'm half considering, running some of that silver dryer venting out my window (is cold here in PEI) then to an intake 80mm on my cpu..
